Elizabeth Line and the Thames - 05.06.2023

   photo

The platforms on the Elizabeth Line are enormous Farringdon Station The cavernous Canary Wharf A little further along the Thames from Canary Wharf This noose hangs at the back of The Prospect of Whitby pub. It's there because the pub is right next to Execution Dock, which was used for over 400 years to hang pirates, smugglers and mutineers. The most recent hanging was in the 1830s. Hermitage Community Moorings A glimpse of Kaos, Walmart hieress Nancy Walton's £240 million yacht. You'd think with that sort of money she could afford a spell checker. Tower Bridge, of course. The city, framed by Tower Bridge's iron work. Borough Market. I stood under the sign for ages, but no luck.
